Yes We Do “One Time Jobs”

We are happy to clean “One Time Jobs,” that is, working for a client just one time or occasionally.  You do not have to set up Regular Routine Service to use our service.  We do need some notice in order to get you on our cleaning schedule, so planning ahead is always a good thing to do.

Regular Routine Service

Regular Routine Service has a set price on a set cleaning schedule and is very different than our One Time Jobs service, we would be happy to explain it to you in detail.  Normally, this is done in person at your job site (home or business).

One Time Jobs Done By The Hour

When we work occasionally for you, which we refer to as One Time Jobs, we work by the hour, the reason for this is due to the fact that we can not be certain as to just how long your One Time Job will take, and of course the price is determined by how long your job will take.  In some cases we are able to give to you an approximation, but it will only be a ballpark figure at best.  In light of this, we have designed a system that will provide you with the very best service available and at the same time keep the cost within what you want to invest in your cleaning project.

Working From Your Priorities List

For One Time Jobs, we work from your list of priorities starting with the most important items first, working down your list of priorities until your budget is met if there is a budget.  With One Time Jobs, we are only able to finish your list when your budget provides the required finances to do so.  In other words, we can only clean what you are willing to pay for.  It is also very important to realize that the time it takes to clean something depends on how much cleaning it needs.  As an example, the same bathroom normally cleaned in only thirty minutes might take three hours or more if it is in very bad and unkempt condition.  Condition does matter.

Strict Budgets Are Welcomed

When there is a strict budget, we will stop cleaning when the budget is met assuring that you will not spend more money than you wanted to. However, we will always complete a specific task in a specific place and a task that is started will be done right. In other words we will not leave a window half cleaned or a rooms floor partially vacuumed, if we touch it we will clean it correctly! We are most willing to complete your cleaning project, but only when we have an understanding with you that the cost to you is determined by how many “Staff Hours” are put into your cleaning project.

Calculating Staff Hours

We work by the hour when doing One Time Jobs. The number of hours worked, which we call Staff Hours, are calculated simply by multiplying the number of workers who are working at your job site by the elapsed time worked at your job site.  We then take the Staff Hours and multiply it by our current hourly rate, which is $25.00 per hour to determine your cost.

A Helpful Example For Staff Hours

The following example may by helpful in understanding how we calculate Staff Hours, which will be used to calculate the cost of your One Time Job:  Let’s say 3 workers all work at your job site from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, which is 4 hours of elapsed time each, which equal 12 Staff Hours.

Formula To Find Staff Hours

3 workers X 4 hours each = 12 Staff Hours

In our example, because there were 12 Staff Hours we then multiply our current *hourly rate of $25.00 by 12 Staff Hours for a total price of $300.00.

Your Job Is Unique

Your job will be unique.  You may have more or less workers at your job site and the number of hours will probably be different; however, the way in which we calculated the price will follow the above example.  Please keep in mind that the number of workers at your job site does not change your final cost.  Think of it this way; if your One Time Job takes six hours to complete and we send one worker to do it, they would be there for six hours, say 8:00 am until 2:00 pm or six Staff Hours.  However, if we send two workers to do the same job, they would be there from 8:00 am until 11:00 am.  In both cases, it is still six Staff Hours of work being done and therefore the same cost to you.

New Client Payment Method

Payment for new clients is required prior to the start of the project.  Credit cards are preferred, cash is accepted.  Once we have established a relationship with a client, payment may be made after the project is completed using credit card, cash, or check.

Signed Company Policies Document

We must have on file a signed copy of our Policy Document for One Time Jobs from the person who is responsible for payment prior to the start of your cleaning project.  We do accept faxed and e-mailed copies as well as the persons coming to Our Office to sign the document, or you may mail it back as long as it arrives in time.
